Recognizing that barriers to employment are often impacted by policies negotiated at the federal, state, and local levels of government, the Alliance’s Policy Committee is working to create a policy agenda that will help to clear the path of low income workers to employment. Working together as an alliance of public and private funders and employers, the group will help to analyze policy changes. Issues include: drivers license recovery and drivers education, case management coordination, and distribution of state workforce funds into southeastern Wisconsin among others.
